St. John the Baptist
|
Letter From The Principal Dear Families, St. John the Baptist Catholic
School provides not only an academic program of high quality but it is
also a center in which Christ’s message, community, service, and worship
are integrated into our daily experiences.
Catholic school
education is concerned with all aspects of a child’s growth and
development: spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical and social. Our mission statement declares:
“We are called to develop life-long attitudes and
beliefs that will enable students to be active Christians and practicing
Catholics, while assisting them to acquire the knowledge and skills
necessary to be successful individuals.” At Realization of that hope
requires both commitment and a plan of action.
Your prayers, your participation as a
volunteer, and your spirit of cooperation are essential to its success.
We plan our curriculum to meet the high
standards which characterize Catholic school education.
Our goals focus on
areas of knowledge to be studied, skills to be acquired, and habits and
attitudes to be developed. Let us continue to work together to be the
change we want to see in the world …to build a civilization of love and
a place of peace. In Christ’s peace,
Mrs. Dvonch
