St. John Athletic Association’s Mission
The St. John’s Athletic Association mission is to offer “no-cut” Girls Volleyball, Boys Basketball, Girls Cheerleading, Girls Basketball, Boys Volleyball, and Co-ed Track to our 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
The Athletic Association:
• Maintains all sporting equipment associated with the school.
• Staffs the entrance table, concession stand and scoring table for all home games.
• Installs and maintains the playground grounds and equipment at school.
• Organizes all games, practices and needed coaches for all teams through the Athletic Director position.
• Organizes Intramural Girls Volleyball and Boys Basketball for all 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students.
• Offers a $500 yearly Eichhorn Scholarship to graduating high school seniors that attended St. John and played at least one sport.
• Sponsors the annual Sport Banquet and Awards Night.
• Organizes and maintains the finances of the Association and the Booster Club.
Open Membership
Any school family can be a member of the Athletic Association. If interested please ask acurrent member.
Six to seven meetings are held during the Fall and Spring Sports Seasons as needed.
Booster Club Membership
Anyone can be a Booster Club member! The SJS Athletic Association’s goal is to encourage and guide students in competitive circumstances instilling Teamwork, Sportsmanship, and most importantly Christian Values. We count on Booster Club Memberships to fulfill this goal.
Advantages of Being a Booster Club Member
With your Booster Club Membership you will be eligible to WIN $200, $100, and/or $50 from each of the 12 monthly drawings. No elimination – 36 chances to WIN! Please fill out the information below. Mail or return form to the school or church office with your check for $70.00 (made payable to St. John’s Athletic Booster Club). Return as soon as possible to be eligible for the very next monthly drawing! Please enclose form with your contribution.
